Studio C: space to move in Terwijde

Studio C is a light and spacious movement studio in Terwijde and opened it's doors in September 2017. Across the road from busstop Waterwinpark, close to Terwijde shopping center, Terwijde train station and the Albert Heijn parking garage, it is easily accessibly by bike, car and public transport.

The studio is on the first floor, but accessible from the street by walking up the ramp or the stairs across from the busstop.

The mat- barre- and yoga area of the studio measures approx. 75 m2 while in a separate area the studio is equipped with three reformers, a cadillac, a stability chair and a ladder barrel.

Carolien van de Waal started taking Pilates classes in 2011, shortly after giving birth to her third child. The method soon proved very effective to get rid of her back pain but it wasn't until two years later that she decided to start training to become an instructor.
Carolien completed her mat- and reformer courses with Lisa Palmer in Port Elisabeth (South Africa) and started teaching from her home in Lusaka, Zambia in 2014.

After moving back to the Netherlands in 2016, she continued her STOTT education at K'dans in The Hague.
She is  a certified instructor for Mat (level 1 and 2) and for Reformer (level 1) and has completed the Intensive Cadillac Course, Injuries and Special Populations Course and Total Barre Foundation and Endurance courses.
